Configuring Security Settings
Configuring the Server IP Settings
Use the Data Export Menu to configure the following settings:
Network/server settings:
• Data Export: Used to enable HL7 Data Export and select a network type.

In the window that appears, enter the Administrator password, 2-1-5 (or the
password you configured) and select OK twice.
The Admin tab appears.
Caution
The Admin tab remains unlocked for 1 minute after you close it. This
allows you to open the menu again without having to re-enter the
password. Do not leave the monitor unattended during the unlock time.

Select the Security button.

Do one of the following:
• To import a client certificate, select Select Client Cert. to Import, enter
the password for the Client Certificate Password, and then proceed to
Step 7.
• If not importing a client certificate, skip to Step 8.

Select Import Client Certificate.
The certificate is imported and the password is erased. The
certificate-friendly name appears in the Client Certificate field.

To import the CA certificate, select Select CA Cert. to Import, and then select
Import CA Certificate.
The certificate is imported. The certificate-friendly name appears in the CA
Certificate
field.
Note — If a CA certificate is already installed on the monitor, and you try to
import another CA certificate from the same CA authority, a window
appears to indicate that the currently installed CA certificate will be
removed and replaced by the new CA certificate. Select OK to close the
window.
Note — The entire certificate name may not fit into the display field.

To view additional information about an imported certificate, select the
certificate name from Available CA Certificate. The following information
appears:
Issued to:
Issued by:
Valid from:

Select OK.

Return to the Admin tab on the System Menu or close the Security Menu.
