Component replacement
9) Secure the new valve to the bracket manifold with the two screws removed at step 6.
10) Loosely refit the gas valve bracket to the power supply using the 2 screws removed
at step 3 but do not tighten the screws yet.
11) Refit a new internal filter between the gas valves and inlet manifold as described in
Opening the BT37 .
12) Slide the valve bracket assembly forwards or backwards so that the gas inlet
manifold plate that attaches to the incubator rear panel is aligned to its rear panel
position. Temporarily offer up the rear panel to the back of the incubator to
identifying this position. Tighten the screws that were loosely fitted at step 10) to
hold the bracket securely in position.
Lid and rear panel replacement
13) Refit the lid and rear panel as described in Opening the BT37 .
3.9 Battery
1) Remove the battery access panel of the incubator as described in Opening the BT37
.
2) Disconnect the battery by pushing the reverse_polarity_protection_bar in the direction
of the arrow shown in Fig.1.

3) Insulate the exposed battery terminals with insulating tape before
proceeding.
4) Unscrew the nut and washers that hold the battery retaining clamp in position and
remove the clamp shown in Fig.2.
