4. Install the two fuel tank brackets and two fuel tank
bracket fasteners

that retain the fuel tank in the
chassis. Torque to specification.
TORQUE
Fuel Tank Bracket Fasteners:
10 ft-lbs (14 Nm)
5. Connect the fuel line

to the fuel pump. Push the
latch down to lock the quick connector to the fuel
pump. Lightly pull back to ensure it is fully seated.
6. Connect the fuel pump electrical harness

7. Connect the fuel tank vent line quick connect fitting

to the tank fitting.
8. EVAP MODELS ONLY: Install the carbon canister
bracket and the three fasteners securing it to the
chassis. Torque to specification.
TORQUE
Carbon Canister Bracket:
6 ft-lbs (8 Nm)
9. EVAP MODELS ONLY: Install the carbon canister.
Refer to Carbon Canister Service page 5.22.
10.Install the left rocker panel. Refer to Rocker Panel
Service page 11.41.
11. Connect the battery. Refer to Battery Service page
2.62.
