58 MAN. PS 254 EN – Ind. 2
! Regulation of the current
As long as the settings are correct, the current
is rated by the TRDC2 card of the generator.
To gain access, remove the panel on the right
side of the generator. To measure the current,
use a shunt of 300 A / 300 mV class 0.2. The
values given below correspond to this type of
shunt.
A Insert the shunt into the ground cable
and connect a root mean square
voltmeter. Use a torch capable of
supporting 200 A.
B Start a cycle "with arc" without
pulsation, with a programmed current
of 200 A. The value read must be 200
mV, if not, use the potentiometer P5 to
adjust it.
C Start another cycle with a current of 10
A. The value read must be 10 mV. If
not, use the potentiometer P4 to adjust
it.
D Repeat operations B and C until the
setup is correct.
The other potentiometers of the generator
are factory regulated. Please do not modify
them.
