Shuttle Fan *

1. Cycle power: Turn printer off.
Wait 15 seconds. Turn printer
on.
“Shuttle Fan” error message. Go to step 2. Return printer to
normal operation.
2. Run a shuttle/ribbon
diagnostic test (page 4–37)
and observe the blower fan.
Blower starts and runs, but
“Shuttle Fan” error message
displays.
Go to step 3. Go to step 4.
3. Turn off the printer. Check all
cable connections between
hammer drivers, power
supply wire harness, and the
sensor harness assembly.
Cables are connected and
undamaged.
Replace the
controller and
hammer driver
boards.
Replace the
defective cable
assembly.
4. Check for indication shown at
right.

Replace the
blower. Go to step
5.
Return printer to
normal operation.
