Functional Elements of the Printer
The printer consists of six functional elements:
♦ Control panel
♦ Controller board (CCB or LMI)
♦ Mechanism driver board
♦ Hammer driver board
♦ Power supply
♦ Print mechanisms
Figure 2–9 is a block diagram of the functional elements of printers
controlled by the CCB.
Figure 2–10 is a block diagram of the functional elements of printers
controlled by the LMI.
