CAUTION: The control solution ranges printed on
the back of the Prodigy test strip vials are not blood
glucose target ranges.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Prodigy Control Solution is only to be used with
Prodigy Blood Glucose Monitoring Systems.
Check the expiration date on the bottle. Do not use if
expired.
Use within 90 days after opening. Record the discard
date on the bottle to remind you when to discard
your control solution.
WHY PERFORM A CONTROL SOLUTION TEST:
To ensure that your meter and test strips are working
properly together.
To allow you to practice testing without using your
own blood.
WHEN TO PERFORM A CONTROL SOLUTION TEST:
When you begin using a new vial of test strips.
At least once a week.
When you suspect the meter or test strips are not
working properly.
When your blood glucose test results are not
consistent with how you feel, or when you think
your test results are inaccurate.
