Follow the guidelines below to properly clean and
disinfect your system:
Please clean and disinfect your Prodigy AutoCode
®
meter at least once per week.
When disinfecting your meter, use the PDI Super
Sani-Cloth Germicidal Disposable Wipe or other
disinfectant wipes with the same EPA number
(#9480-4).
If the wipe is dripping, gently squeeze out excess
liquid before wiping the meter.
Never immerse the meter in any type of liquid.
The total time needed for the disinfectant solution
to remain wet on the surface of the meter is two (2)
minutes to ensure that total disinfection of all stated
label claims are achieved.
• When cleaning and disinfecting the meter, be
extremely careful to avoid letting any liquid enter the
meter’s test strip port or your mobile device’s data or
headphone ports, as this can cause inaccurate test
results.
We do not advise wrapping the meter in a wipe.
Instead, wipe ALL exterior surfaces of the meter
per the product label instructions. Be sure that the
minimum contact time is met.
