3.1 Requirements
Personnel must be familiar with the contents of the "Operating
instructions for the peristaltic metering pump DULCO flex Control,
DFXa"!
The pump must have the identity code feature "Control type": "R"
PROFIBUS
®
DP interface M12". The
‘Fieldbus’
menu item is then
available in the operating menu. (When
‘Fieldbus
è
active’
is set,
‘Settings
è
PROFIBUS’
also appears in the operating menu.)
3.2 Setting the pump
3.2.1 General
The pump with PROFIBUS
®
functionality is set in the same way as
the standard pump, with the addition of bus functionality.
INFORMATION: The setting process is cancelled in the event of a
pause longer than 60 seconds.
Using the connected PROFIBUS
®
module, the PROFIBUS
®
pump
represents a device with slave functionality in conformity with DP-
V1. This means that the payload is transferred both cyclically and
acyclically.

Switching PROFIBUS

to active / inactive

in the operating menu for the
pump to be activated using the PROFIBUS
®

key to access the
‘Menu’

and press it to switch from
‘Information’
to
‘Fieldbus’
.

[Clickwheel]
and press it to switch from
‘Fieldbus’
to
‘inactive / active’
