Special features in active PROFINET
®
mode
4.3.1 General
INFORMATION!: The pump cannot be manually set or pro‐
grammed in PROFINET
®
mode. To do this, set the PROFINET
®
to
‘inactive’
.
n The
[Clickwheel]
can be used to switch between the contin‐
uous displays at any time, as in the other operating modes.
This does not affect the operation of the pump.
n When PROFINET
®
mode is selected, the settings from the last
operating mode without PROFINET
®
are applied. By contrast,
the settings made via PROFINET
®
are not saved! They only
apply as long as the pump is linked to the PROFINET
®
. Only
the
‘stroke counter’
(total number of strokes) and the
‘rotation
counter’
(total number of rotations), depending on the pump
design, and the
‘quantity counter’
(total number of litres) con‐
tinue to be counted and saved.
n The pump stops if the pump is switched to PROFINET
®
mode.
The pump can be reactivated by pressing the
[Stop / Start]
key. Use the BUS to give the Start command.
4.3.2 Displays
There are further identifiers in the operating indicator when PRO‐
FINET
®
mode is running.
INFORMATION!: The commonly used identifiers can be found in
the “Control elements” chapter in the "Operating instructions
for the peristaltic metering pump DULCO flex Control, DFXa".
Stop PROFINET
®
: the pump has been stopped using PRO‐
FINET
®
. The master has sent the pump a corresponding telegram.
