4 GNSS Receiver
4.1. General Description
EM120R-GL&EM160R-GL include a fully integrated global navigation satellite system solution that
supports Gen9-Lite of Qualcomm (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou/Compass and Galileo).
The modules support standard NMEA-0183 protocol, and output NMEA sentences at 1 Hz data update
rate via USB interface by default.
By default, EM120R-GL&EM160R-GL GNSS engine is switched off. It can only be switched on via AT
command. For more details about GNSS engine technology and configurations, refer to document [4].
