Gas Spring Removal
2. For Gas Spring Removal, Remove the Lower
holding bolt (A). using a 5mm Hex key (fi gure
7.7.2)
Note: The shocks used in this power base are pre-adjusted at the factory. Please refer to
Section 9- Suspension overview.
1. Remove the wheel assembly by using a 5/8"
deep socket wrench to remove the 3 bolts that
hold the wheel and rim in place (fi gure 7.7.1).
Before removing the Gas Spring, raise the center
of the chair with a lift so that the suspension can
come all of the way down.

3. Remove the top holding Bolt with a 6mm hex
(fi gure 7.7.3)
