HP+ Hydraulic Fitting and Hose Installation
1. Install the supplied hoses and fittings as described in the table and figure above.
2. Connect supplied ISO couplers to appropriate hose ends, and route hoses toward front of the implement.
NOTE: Use a low pressure port that returns oil directly to the hydraulic reservoir. Use of this port will extend
motor seal life and prevent damaging pressure spikes. Consult the tractor-specific manual or call a
dealer to determine the location and proper use of this port. If a port is not available, always turn the
pump off in the float position.
NOTE: Route hydraulic hoses so that they are free of twists or kinks and will not be pinched by surrounding
mechanisms. Ensure at least 3 feet of hose extends past toolbar hitch point. Extra hose should be
secured to the toolbar, away from moving parts or pinch points. Take care to prevent dirt or other
contaminants from entering hydraulic assemblies which may cause premature wear or failure of
hydraulic components.
