All Raytheon products are subjected to a comprehensive test procedure
prior to packing and shipping. In the unlikely event that a fault does
occur with your autopilot, the following check list should help identify
the problem and provide a cure.

ïNo power ñ check the fuse/circuit breaker.
The aut opi lot display show s COD E LOCK at power on
ïThe CodeLock code must be entered manually (see Chapter 4).
The displayed compass headi ng does not agr ee w it h t he
shi ps co mpa ss
ïThe compass has not been corrected for deviation ñ carry out the
deviation and alignment procedures.
Vessel t urns slowly and t akes a long time to come on t o
course
ïRudder gain too low.
Vessel overshoot s when t urning on to a new course
ïRudder gain too high.
The aut opi lot appears t o be unst abl e i n Tr ack mode, or t r ack-
holding is slow
ïIf tide speed exceeds 35% of boat speed, and boat speed is not
available via SeaTalk, change the Cruise Speed setting in Dealer
Setup from Auto (A) to the boatís cruising speed.
The aut opi lot appear s t o be unst abl e on Nort herl y headi ngs
in the Northern hemisphere and Southerly headings in the
Sout hern hemi sphere
ïNortherly/Southerly heading correction (AutoAdapt) not set up.
Display shows CA L L OCK when entering calibration
ïCalibration locked out ñ calibration protection feature is turned on in
Dealer Setup.
