2.2.2 MENU Mode Basics

MENU mode allows the user to select one of the listed actions (sub-modes.)
Pressing the <1> key will prompt the user to SETUP a new satellite position into non-volatile memory. Up
to 100 satellites may be SETUP, twenty of which may be inclined orbit satellites.

The ACU will prompt the user to enter the satellite data, as well as to peak each axis’ position, and it will
store this data for a later RECALL. Details of each prompt can be found in section 5.1.2.1.
If the SETUP satellite has been identified as having an inclined orbit, the TRACK mode will be
automatically entered.
Back at the MENU mode, pressing the <2> key will allow the user to RECALL any of the previously
SETUP satellites stored in memory.

Use the Scroll Up and/or Scroll Dn keys to scroll through the list of satellites stored in non-volatile
memory. Press the ENTER key to select the desired satellite. Follow the prompts to complete the
RECALL. Details of each prompt can be found in
section 5.1.2.2.
Antenna movement can be stopped at any time by pressing the Stop key.
When the automatic move is completed, control will transfer to MANUAL mode if the target is a
geostationary satellite. If the target of the automatic move is an inclined orbit satellite, TRACK mode
receives control.
From the MENU screen, momentarily pressing the Mode key will move to MANUAL mode.
