Removing Jammed Paper from the Bypass Tray
Use the following procedure to remove paper that has become jammed after being
fed in from the bypass tray.
CAUTION:
A If paper is jammed in the bypass tray input area, remove the jammed paper
carefully.
B Close the bypass tray.
C Push the side button to open the front cover, and then carefully lower it.
• The inside of this machine becomes very hot. Do not touch parts labelled
“v” (indicating a hot surface).
