4. AC power switch
Press to completely turn off the power of the machine. The AC power switch must be kept on in normal use.
The switch is inside the left mainframe front cover. For details about the AC power switch, see below.

Install toner cartridges here. Open the cover to replace toner cartridges.
5. Right mainframe front cover
Open to remove paper jams.
6. Paper trays (Trays 1–2)
Load paper here.

7. Transfer Unit Dehumidifying Heater
This is the dehumidifying heater in the Transfer Unit. It warms up the interior of the unit to maintain the humidity
at an optimum level.
Turn the dehumidifying heater "On" when:
• The output paper gets stained while the temperature in the unit is low.
• Condensation in the unit causes the machine to produce an abnormally generated image.
• Other conditions that increase the temperature inside the unit.
8. Waste toner cartridge cover
Open to replace the waste toner bottle.
• To close the left front cover or right front cover of the machine, push the cover until it is locked in
place.
