Example 5: Making Cursor Measurements
There are 20 most desired parameters that could be automatically measured with
the oscilloscope. These parameters can also be measured using cursors. You could
use the cursors to quickly make time and voltage measurements on a waveform.
Measuring the Frequency of the First Sinc Waveform Peak
To measure the ring frequency at the rising edge of a signal, do these steps:
1. Press Cursor key to see the Cursor menu.
2. Press Mode to set Manual mode.
3. Press Type to select X.
4. Turn (
) knob to place cursor A on the first peak of the wave.
5. Turn (
) knob to place cursor B on the second peak of the wave.
