Note: The default programmed options are marked with *.
In order to activate / deactivate any of these options, press 1 to 6 keys. The
corresponding zone LED will turn ON / OFF accordingly.
If these options should keep their previously programmed values press [#] key instead of any
numerical key.
After establishing these options to the required values press [#] key to confirm. The
keypad buzzer will sound 6 beeps and exit this section, waiting for a new command to enter
another section or to exit the programming menu.
Remarks:
1. When the panel is dialing any phone number (either for synthesis sounds or for CS reporting) it will be dialed
in “pulse” or “DTMF” mode, according to the way the respective parameter has been programmed.
2. The control panel first checks if the dialing tone is present, waiting for 6 seconds for the line tone. If it cannot
detect the dialing tone, the control panel will “blind” dial. For the next call, the procedure will be repeated.
3. Telephone line monitoring (TLM):
- When this feature is enabled by programming, the panel will check the existence of telephone line once every
4 seconds, except during any phone line communication and every time when the panel is detecting an
incoming call (during these actions and 30 seconds after them the telephone line monitoring is stopped);
- An effective phone line test failure occurs only if for at least 30 seconds the panel doesn’t detect the existence
of telephone line and this trouble is restored only if the panel will detect again the telephone line for at least
30 seconds, too.
- Once the phone line trouble (TLT) is recorded, this trouble condition will be displayed on zone 3 LED within
system trouble displaying menu - [*][4] command, and the keypads will signal it by keypad trouble buzzer
warnings and by blinking of the SYSTEM LED.
- One type for PGM1 and PGM2 outputs is included “pulse on phone line trouble” which goes to ON status
once the phone line test is failing; this type of PGM will turn OFF after the pulse time established by
programming.
- In order to generate one or more actions when the telephone line test fails, two options were included in this
section as follows:
