Error messages
An error message may be shown if you have operated this instrument incorrectly, or if something was not processed correctly according to how
you operated this instrument.
Follow the instructions shown by the error message to correct the problem.
Error Message Explanation
MIDI Oine! The MIDI connection is broken.
MIDI Buer Full! The MIDI IN connector’s input buer has overowed.
MIDI Communication Error! A hardware error occurred at the MIDI IN, OUT connectors.
Read Error! An error occurred when reading from a USB ash drive.
Write Error! An error occurred when writing to a USB ash drive.
USB Memory Not Ready! The USB ash drive is not ready.
USB Memory Full! The USB ash drive has no free capacity.
FORMAT USB Memory Error! An error occurred when formatting the USB ash drive.
Buer Full A control buer overowed.
File Not Found! The specied le was not found on the USB ash drive.
Can’t Backup. The backup failed.
Can’t Restore. The restore operation failed.
Can’t Reset. The factory reset operation failed.
Unregistered! You have selected an unregistered favorite.
Not Enough Power The power supply is insucient.
Import Error! Import to user memory failed.
Import Error! Sample Memory
Full
The sample memory is full.
In this case, you must free up the storage by uninstalling existing World Expansions or delete unneeded samples.
Refer to the “Roland Cloud Users Guide” (Roland website) for how to uninstall a World Expansion.
Error
Sample Memory Full
Sample Length Too Long! The le could not be imported because the sample is too long.
Optimize Error! Memory optimization failed.
Delete Error! Failed to delete user memory.
Expansion File Not Found!
There are no sound les (World Expansion) saved on the USB ash drive.
Check that the sound le is correctly saved on the media, and that the le format is .exz.
Incorrect File!
This is shown when the selected le is not compatible with this instrument or if the le is corrupted.
Check the compatible models of the source le you downloaded, and try downloading again.
Incorrect License! Please
Remove License
When installing content distributed via by Roland Cloud, this message appears when the selected sound le is already
installed with a dierent user license.
To install, you must either use the sound le that’s associated with the same user license as the le that’s already
installed, or else delete (initialize) the user license. See the “Roland Cloud Users Guide” (Roland website) for details on
how to initialize a user license.
Expansion Memory Full!
There is not enough free capacity to install the data.
In this case, you must rst free up the storage by uninstalling existing World Expansions if you want to install new les.
Refer to the “Roland Cloud Users Guide” (Roland website) for how to uninstall a World Expansion.
It has already been installed The World Expansion you selected has already been installed. You don’t need to reinstall in this case.
