Safety, Operation and Maintenance Manual
WARNING
Before any welding is done on a
machine equipped with the Quantum
Electronic Fuel System, disconnect the
following in this order:
Battery earth cable, battery supply
c a b l e , a l t e r n a t o r e a r t h c a b l e s ,
alternator supply cables, transmission
black box connector, ECM interface
harness connector (30 pin RHS), ECM
power harness connector (5 pin RHS)
and ECM sensor harness connector
(30 pin LHS). Turn off ignition key
switch to isolate the batteries before
disconnecting any components.
After welding connect all of the above
in the reverse order.
1.Electronic control module (ECM) 5. Stop indicator
2&3. Harness connector (50 and 31pin RHS) 6. Maintenance indicator
4. Accelerator pedal 7. Warning indicator
