INSTALLING THE INTERFACES
The HT200e has two interface connectors located inside a compartment on the Front left side of
the printer. Opening the compartment door and swinging down access them.
INSTALLING THE RS232C
A DB-9F connector is used to interface the HT200e to a host using serial RS232C
communications. It can be selected to operate at 4800,9600 or 19200 bps, 7 or 8 datas bits, odd,
even or not parity, and Ready/Busy or X-on/X-off flow control. See Page 43 for procedures on
setting up the serial interface procedures.
INSTALLING SCANNER
A Mini-Din 8-F connector is used to interface the HT200e to an optional scanner. The scanner
can be used in input variable data by reading bar code symbols from a menu sheet.
