4 Commissioning
4.1 System boot
Connect all circuits with correct polarity to the terminal blocks CH1-6. Connect RS485
communication cables to AC control bus (line monitor bus) and RS panel terminal blocks
between control panels, if used. IMPORTANT! No RS485 wires can be connected under
voltage, as this may lead to RS driver failure!
Make sure that there is no short circuit in the connected circuits, check the wiring of the
batteries, measure their voltages separately and together at points Batt1- and Batt2+. Turn on
the AC side circuit breaker, during boot the screen can be read the status of the coupling
modules and the battery manager module. Install the battery fuses. Measure the incoming DC
voltage from the power supply, set the power supply to 31V if necessary. If the power supply
voltage is too low, the batteries cannot be charged, so you will receive the error message
"charging current cannot be increased".
Measure the output voltage of circuits in both mains (31V DC) and battery (24V DC) operation.
The addressed luminaires indicate a green-red alternating status before programming. Check
all luminaire units in the circuits for visual inspection. If the status indicator is solid green, it is
not a problem, it only indicates that the previous program has not been deleted yet.
The line monitoring modules (AC Control) can only transmit their status after the first
energization, check the presence of power supply in the distribution cabinets and the
termination resistance under the cover for the last module.
4.2 Programming
4.2.1 Connection
System programming is only possible for installers with a valid dongle. The programming
software is located on the dongle and is called SCHRACK SECURO Software. For details,
refer to the software installation instructions.
Connect the utp cable (patch cable) to the RJ45 connector on the master panel and to the
computer. The default IP address of the master panel is on the 192.168.2.x network, if you are
establishing a direct connection without a router, set the IP address of the computer
accordingly, in the same subnet. If you connect the panel to a network with a router, you can
also use automatic ip address assignment, which can be enabled from both the screen and
the software.
4.2.2 Find luminaires
Thanks to the unique addressing of the SECURO 24 PRO system, searching for luminaires is
quick and easy. The first step is to erase all data from the luminaires using the RESET
command, which can be transmitted to all circuits or individually. Delete, the lights quickly
vibrate green-red three times, and then alternating green-red flashes appear. During SEARCH,
the lights disappear from the status flashes and turn green one by one as the control panel
finds them. On average, the 120 luminaires are searched for in 1 minute, but this largely
