Installation and operating instructions
6 Vers. 1.0 2024_03
For easier commissioning, the luminaire ID is also attached to the outside of the luminaire at
the factory. In addition, each luminaire is supplied with further labels with the luminaire ID,
which can be stuck on the plan at the luminaire position or can also be attached to any ceiling
installation frames used.
1.3.8 Luminaire naming
When designing an emergency lighting system to be addressed, it is recommended that each
addressable luminaire is given a clearly recognizable designation.
For example: 1/4/8/3, in this case 1/ the number of the group battery system, /4/ the circuit
number of the group battery system, /8/ the luminaire group, /3 the luminaire number within
the luminaire group.
1.3.9 Commissioning software: Schrack SECURO
Protected MS Windows Software with dongle identification capable of programming all
SECURO 24 PRO addressed emergency centrals. It connects to the hub(s) over a TCP/IP
network. The software can only be handled by a trained person and is required for setting up
and maintaining the system.
1.3.10 Client Software: Schrack SECURO Client
Restricted free of charge MS Windows software for end users. It is suitable for basic data
reading, status query and control. The user can launch tests and create reports with it. It
connects to the emergency centrals over a TCP/IP network.
1.3.11 Graphics module: Schrack SECURO Graphics
Part of the client software, which can be purchased separately. In addition to the properties of
the client software, you can import floor plans of the building and display the luminaires at the
installation position. Changed statuses such as luminaire faults are displayed graphically.
1.3.12 EMG Test
There are two types, short function test and long battery test. You can start both timed and
manually. Used to check emergency lighting luminaires/batteries.
1.3.13 Function test (short test)
It is used to check the addressed luminaires, requires a few seconds for the inspection, during
which the panel checks each luminaire controller one by one, tests the communication as well
as the LED light source. The frequency of the test can be set in the commissioning software
by specifying the daily period, but it can also be started manually from the LCD. The result can
be read in the EMG test window and printed from software to PDF. The function test always
starts from mains voltage at the central. The basic condition is the presence of a reference
value per luminare and the normal operation of the system.
