3 Luminaire controllers (LED drivers)
3.1 General Information
Each emergency luminaire has an addressed LED driver with a unique factory-set identification
number. The identification number can be read off the sticker, another label with this number
is attached to the outside of the luminaire and two further labels are included in the packaging
so that the installation can be documented in the floor plan if necessary.
During software commissioning, the connected luminaires are automatically recognized with
these identification numbers.
Note: The correct polarity of the 24V DC wiring must be observed for correct operation.

We also receive information about the status of the luminaires by visual inspection of the status
LED’s.
3.2 Planning, calculation
All circuits have a maximum load capacity of 3A, so preliminary calculation is essential for
accurate calculation. The 24V system calculator will help you with this. We can specify the
number of luminaires per circuit according to power and calculate the total load, maximum
cable length and the expected runtime in battery mode.
In the case of a multi-panel system, it can roughly estimate the required amount of panels
dependent on the total amount of luminaires.
