1.3.14 Duration test (battery capacity test, long test)
The function test process is complemented by a battery capacity test, the duration can be set
from 30 to 180 minutes. During the test, all lights are on. The test can be timed in the
programming software, result reading and report printing are the same as the function test.
1.3.15 Maintenance mode
A special 30-minute check can be started from programming software, during which the
communication of the luminaire controllers is continuously checked. The report printed at the
end of the test gives a detailed report on the status of the luminaire controllers.
1.3.16 Standby operation (charging mode)
In standby mode (charging mode), the emergency luminaires are deactivated even in the event
of a power failure. When the control panel is supplied with power, the display panel switches
off. All circuits are deactivated. The batteries continue to be charged.
This can be useful in facilities where the emergency lighting is to be temporarily deactivated
when the building is not in use and no emergency switching is required, e.g. during extended
school holidays.
1.3.17 Luminaire group
All luminaires identified after scanning belong to standard group 1. There are a total of 127
luminaire groups for networked or independent SECURO 24 PRO centrals. Luminaires in the
same group can be switched on and off together. Up to three luminaire groups can be assigned
to the phase monitor module, which are to be switched on via the central in the event of a
power failure at the phase monitor.
Remark: If the same luminaire group number (>1) is assigned to several SECURO 24 PRO
centrals and this lighting group is assigned to a mains monitor, all the luminaires in this lighting
group will switch on in all the networked central units if the line monitor detects power loss.
1.3.18 Commissioning booklet
It is recommended to fill in the addresses (identification numbers) of the mounted luminaires
and line monitoring modules into a list, otherwise the installation will not be smooth. The
identification numbers can be found on the power supply of the luminaire, and on a sticker on
the luminaire housing.
In the box there are additional stickers with the identification number to be used on optional
recessed frames or to be sticked in the floor plan where the luminaire was mounted.
Based on the commissioning booklet the programmer can correctly assign the luminaires in
the system
