3442 Steps to Disassemble Flywheel and Ring Gear
Disassembling steps are contrary to assembling ones.
3443 Inspection and Maintenance of Flywheel and Ring Gear
(1) Check whether there is failure like thread damage on flywheel bolts.
(2) Check flywheel surface for conquassation.
(3) Check whether flywheel ring gear is damaged.
3444 Steps to Assemble Flywheel and Ring Gear
(1) Fix the flywheel ring gear on flywheel with bolts;
(2) Knock the pin into crankshaft rear end fully.
(3) After inserting flywheel guide rod into crankshaft threaded hole, install flywheel and
pre-tighten the bolts diagonally. Apply lubricating oil on bolt thread and bearing surface.
Flywheel bolts:
Bolt specification M16-12.9 (×6); Tightening torque: 285~295Nm; Test value: 285~340Nm.
