1 - SUPPLY
1.1 - SHUNT excitation system
The SHUNT excitation alternator is auto-
excited with a R 250 voltage regulator.
The regulator controls the excitation current
according to the alternator’s output voltage.
With a very simple conception, the SHUNT
excitation alternator does not have a short
circuit capacity.
