7.8.
QUALITY CONTROL SET-UP
The “QUALITY CONTROL” makes it possible to require or not the control of the analysis during its
execution. Each Quality Control made, is memorized automatically.
When this option is validated by “YES”, the software checks during the analysis measurement if this
one must be controlled (in the contrary case “NOT”, no alarm concerning quality will be apparent on
the screen or with the printing).
The function « DISPLAY » allows displaying on screen as graph the values and dates of previous
control (only after at least two controls of the same analysis method have been made). Printout of QC
can be obtained after programming TRACE-ABILITY function, YES.
During the analysis, control will be suggested to the user.
- Upon validating “YES” enter the maximum and minimum tolerance values of control then measure
reagent blank, the calibration and then the control sample in order to compare the results. Q noticed in
front of the result will indicate that control was omitted.
NOTE: Upon using a test method for the first time in the day, you will be suggested to run a control.
However, once QC is done for the day, no need to run another one, hence F6 « NO ».
