CAUTION
The coolant temperature sensor should never be
allowed to fall on a hard surface. Such a shock to the
part can damage it.

Drain the coolant (see Cooling System in Periodic
Maintenance chapter).
◆
Disconnect the Sensor lead.
◆
Remove the Sensor

Apply silicone sealant to the threads of the Sensor
and tighten it
◆
Tighten:
Torque
Coolant Temperature Sensor
12 N•m (1.2kgf•m, 107 in•lb)

Fill the coolant (see Cooling System in Periodic
Maintenance chapter).
