CVT Cover Removal

Turn the ignition switch OFF.

Remove
CVT Outer Cover Bolts

Fit the CVT Cover seal

into the seal groove of
CVT Inner cover
◆
Tighten the cover bolts following the tightening
sequence as shown.
Torque
Converter Cover Bolts
9.8 N•m (1.0kgf•m, 87 in•lb)

WARNING
Excessive imbalance or operating rpm could cause
CVT pulley failure resulting in severe injury or death.
The pulleys of the CVT are precision balanced
components designed to operate within certain rpm
limits. Disassembly/assembly and servicing procedures
of the pulley assemblies must be followed closely.
Modifi cations to the engine or pulleys that increase rpm
may cause failure.
