4. L-478 maintenance tool use procedure
4.1 Caution
1) Use a Windows PC noted in “1. Equipment, tools and materials required for repair”.
2) The user who installs and runs the software must be set as the administrator.
Otherwise, the software will not be installed or run properly.
3) The Firmware Updating program requires Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.
This will be installed automatically if it is not already installed. (Contained in the CD)
4) Explanations here are based on Windows 7.
Installation procedures and warning messages may differ depending on the environment.
Refer to the comments noted for applicable parts.
Refer to the manual of your operating system for further details.
5) A download file is installed together with a maintenance tool.
A default installation place folder is as follows.
When OS is the 32-bit environment
c:¥Program Files¥SEKONIC¥L478MaintenanceTool¥
When OS is the 64-bit environment
c:¥Program Files(x86)¥SEKONIC¥L478MaintenanceTool¥
4.2 Installing the Maintenance Tool
Installation is only required at first use. Once installed, installation is no longer necessary.
1) Turn on the PC to install the maintenance tool to (hereinafter referred to as PC).
2) Log on as necessary.
3) Insert the CD supplied by Sekonic into the PC.
4) After awhile, CD contents are displayed as shown below. Double-click “Setup.exe”.
