5.3 Incident light calibration
Required tools: PC, USB cable, Calibration Box, L758 incident light use attachment,
battery (Size AAA battery), master exposure meter
1) Mount the attachment to the calibration box.
2) Check and record the data of the Calibration Box.
Master Meter settingAmbient incident light, EV mode, ISO100
The lumisphere is to be completely extended.
Confirm the setting of the master exposure meter and measure the EV
3 and 12 values of the calibration box.
Record the measurement data.
3) A battery is put into meter. And In accordance with "5.1 Calibration mode start
method", it starts in Incident light calibration mode.
4) Set the Calibration Box to EV3.
If the value indicated in the master exposure meter is different from the value displayed in the
Calibration Box in item 2) above, adjust the EV calibration value with the Jog wheel (+/- button) so
that it is the same as the value indicated in the master exposure meter.
(Adjustment range: +/-0.9EV in 0.1EV steps)
5) Touch the meter to the attachment and press the Measuring button.
The display will display 3 times of measurement data, and average value.
and calibration switches to EV12.
6) Set the Calibration Box to EV 12. If it is necessary to adjust the EV calibration value, use the same
procedure as item 5) above.
7) Touch the meter to the attachment and press the Measuring button. The display will display 3 times
of measurement data, average value, and a Gamma value., calibration is executed automatically.
8) Press the Power button (on/off switch) and turn the power supply off.
