• When towing the vehicle, the hazard warning
lights must be turned on and the relevant local
regulations must be observed.
• During traction, the gear of the whole vehicle
shall be switched to gear N.
• The traction ring must be firmly screwed into
the threaded hole, otherwise the traction ring
may slip from the threaded hole during
traction.
• When towing, do not let anyone near the tow
rope.
• Do not allow the tires to slip at high speed, as
this may cause a blowout and result in serious
injury to personnel and possible overheating
and damage to vehicle parts.
• The rope should only be hung on the tow
hook, not on other parts of the vehicle,
otherwise it will damage the vehicle.
• When using a tow hitch to assist in extricating
a vehicle, the tow hitch is subject to
considerable force and must be pulled from the
front of the vehicle, not from a side angle.
• When towing a vehicle with a trailer
hitch, only drive on hard surfaces at a
speed of less than 20 km/h and tow a
maximum distance of 20 km. The driver
must sit inside the vehicle and operate the
steering wheel and brakes, and the wheels,
driveline, axles, steering wheel and brakes
must be in good condition.
• When towing with a trailer hitch, it is
prohibited to tow a vehicle heavier than your
own vehicle.
• When towing a vehicle with a trailer hitch,
extreme care must be taken to start and drive
the vehicle slowly and smoothly, as excessive
pulling forces can cause shock loads that may
result in serious injury to personnel or damage
to the vehicle.
