The front seat side airbag is installed on the outside
of the front seat, and the seat guard is marked with
the word "AIRBAG". When the vehicle is hit by a
violent sideward impact, the front seat side airbag is
deployed between the occupant and the door trim ,
Protect the occupant's chest, shoulders, and hips, and
minimize injuries.

The front seat side airbags will only deploy when the
vehicle is severely affected by a collision. The front
seat side airbags will not deploy in all collision
situations.
• Do not place any objects in the area
between the outside of the seat and the door
trim, otherwise it may cause personal injury
or death when the airbag deploys. For more
safety precautions, please refer to page 45.
• Do not use seat covers on the backrests of
the front seats. The seat covers may
interfere with the deployment of the side
airbags on the front seats, causing personal
injury or death.
