3.4.1. Shimmer3 Variations
Shimmer provides sensing units other than the standard Shimmer3 kinematics module including the
Shimmer3 ECG, Shimmer3 EMG, Shimmer3 GSR+, Shimmer3 Bridge Amplifier+ and the Shimmer3
PROTO3 Series. Each sensing unit has a corresponding user guide which details the specifications of
the board, as well as providing information on appropriate use of the board. A copy of each user
guide can be obtained from the folder \Documentation\Hardware User Guides in the Shimmer User
Resources distribution or by downloading it from the Shimmer website.
