Multi Shimmer Sync for Android
Multi Shimmer Sync (MSS) for Android (Figure 4-4) is a mobile-device based application which allows
users to configure multiple Shimmer units to stream data to an Android device over Bluetooth, as
well as saving the time-synchronised data to a file.
The application is ideal for users looking to develop applications in mobile scenarios where
simultaneous data capture from a number of units is required. MSS (Android) permits the user to
configure multiple Shimmer units and can be used with the full range of Shimmer sensing modules.
With a range of features and data capture tools, users can select sampling rate, detect dropped
packets, save and load application settings for future use, annotate data, and name Shimmer units.
