-related diagnostics is always updated up to the current diagnostics message in the
diagnostics message frame. Subsequent, older diagnostics messages are not deleted.
Remedy: Evaluate the valid, current length of the diagnostics message frame:
STEP 7 from the parameter RET_VAL of SFC 13.
The diagnostics alarm is signaled on channel 0.
Table 9- 14 Fault types
Delete alarm bit/acknowledgement
F1 00001:
Short-circuit
• Short-circuit of the
temperature sensor
Alarm bit is automatically deleted when the
cause of the fault has been removed and
acknowledged with "trip reset".
F4 00100:
Overload
• Overload of the temperature
sensor
• Overload of the thermal motor
model
Alarm bit is updated continually.
F5 00101:
Overtemperature
• Overload of the contact block
Alarm bit is automatically deleted when the
cause of the fault has been removed and
acknowledged with "trip reset".
F6 00110:
Wire break
• Wire break of the temperature
sensor
Alarm bit is updated continually.
F7 00111:
Maximum limit value
• I
e
limit value overshot
F8 01000:
Minimum limit value
• I
e
limit value undershot
F9 01001:
Error
• Internal error/device error
• Contact block defective
Alarm bit can be deleted when the cause of
the error has been eliminated by
• Switching the supply voltage On and Off
• "Restart" command if possible
F16 10000:
Parameterization error
• Invalid parameter value
Alarm bit is always deleted when
acknowledged with "trip reset".
F17 10001:
No sensor or load voltage
• Electronics supply voltage too
low
• No contact block supply
voltage
• No supply voltage
Alarm bit is deleted when the cause of
tripping has been eliminated or automatically
acknowledged.
