Shutdown A station is not in communication with the LineMaster
computer.
In the shutdown state, the robot or instrument stops
placing and picking sample tubes. Independent of the
automation system, the instruments may continue
operation. For instruments that aspirate directly from
the interface gate, the station waits for an aspiration
to complete before shutting down.
SIQ Sample in question.
SIQ station Gate or tray defined as SIQ in the Sample Manager
that receives sample tubes requiring operator
intervention.
For information on an SIQ station, see the
ADVIA_Automation_Solutions Operator’s Guide.
Status beacon Light tower that illuminates when the Centrifuge E-
stop button is manually activated or when the system
initiates an E-stop condition.
Test Analyzing a sample or the assay used to analyze the
sample.
Tray Container that holds up to 100 sample tubes.
Each tray displays a unique bar code on the top and all
4 sides for easy identification in cold storage.
Tube Arrival
(sec)
Maximum amount of time between consecutive
sample tubes arriving at the interface gate before
loading cassettes into the Hettich unit.
UPS Uniterruptible Power Supply.
The UPS control unit and battery protects the
Centrifuge module from a sudden loss of power.
Username The name of the operator logged on to the
automation system.
White Shutdown The System is inactive. The Shutdown button on the
Line master software displays the Shutdown button
with a white background.
Workspace User interface of the automation system.
Also called the LineMaster workspace.
X-axis Path that a robot follows when it moves in a horizontal
direction.
