• After the robot loads cassettes in all 4 buckets, the Hettich unit hatch
closes and the Hettich unit centrifuges the samples.

• While the Hettich unit centrifuges the sample tubes, the robot
continues loading unspun sample tubes into cassettes and unloading
spun sample tubes to the interface gate.
• After the centrifuge process completes, the Hettich unit stops.
• The Hettich unit hatch opens and the robot exchanges the spun
cassettes in the Hettich unit with the unspun cassettes on the scale.
• The robot removes each spun sample tube from a cassette and places it
into a puck at the interface gate.
1. Hettich bucket
WARNING
Do not stand within 50 cm (19.7 inches) of the Hettich unit doors while it
is operating and the access door is open. Standing too close to the
Hettich unit doors could result in injury. Always provide a safe distance
from the Hettich unit doors.
