Technical CO alarm
The detector has a high-quality CO sensor which is based on the measurement
principle of the electro-chemical cell.
Instances of the specified CO concentration being exceeded can be detected by
the CO sensor. The limit values vary depending on the parameters set.
You can set the following CO response behaviors on the neural fire detector
FDOOTC241:
Static CO alarm thresholds
Dynamic CO alarm thresholds
The response behaviors are configured using the configuration tool on the control
panel.
Technical Ambient Supervision Alarm
Technical Ambient Supervision Alarm' mode detects an increase in temperature or
CO concentration caused by hysteresis above a specified threshold.
Temperature monitoring compares the current measured temperature with a preset
threshold value.
CO monitoring compares the current measured CO concentration with a preset
threshold value.
You can set the following parameters on the neural fire detector FDOOTC241:
CO concentration or temperature threshold value
Alarming when the temperature threshold value is exceeded or undershot
Alarming when the CO concentration threshold value is exceeded
Hysteresis range
The 'Technical Ambient Supervision Alarm' is configured on the control panel using
the configuration tool.
3.3 Function
3.3.1 Parameter sets for fire
The detection behavior of the detectors is influenced by the parameter sets for fire,
so that it can be specifically adjusted to the fire phenomena and environmental
influences to be expected in the environment to be monitored.
All parameter sets for fire are programmed in the detectors. During commissioning,
the optimum parameter set must be selected for the conditions at the place of
installation. This is performed on the control panel on an FDnet detector line.
Always use the suitable parameter set for fire for the corresponding application.
The default parameter set is not always the suitable parameter set.
