5.9 Detector heating unit FDBH291
5.9.1 Installation of the detector heating unit
When the detector is exposed to icing or moisture condensation (e.g. in cooling
rooms, attics, loading ramps) the detector heating unit FDBH291 is installed in the
base. The detector heating unit increases the detector temperature by
approximately 2 °C over the ambient temperature and thus avoids moisture
condensation on the detector.
To ensure IP protection, the base is always mounted together with the base
attachment humid FDB293.
