Enter the supply voltage of the variable speed drive.
Select the relevant motor type:
1: INDUCT: Induction motor
2: SYNC: Synchronous motor
10: 1LE1 induction motor
13: 1LG6 induction motor
17: 1LA7 induction motor
19: 1LA9 induction motor
100: 1LE1 IND 100, 1LE1☐9 motors with motor code on the rating plate
Select the 50 Hz characteristic. If you wish to use the 87 Hz characteristic, refer
to the detailed technical documentation and the application example "Fans in 87
Hz operation" [➙ 77].
The motor data settings for
rated voltage in volts
rated current in amperes
shaft output in KW or hp
rated frequency in Hz
rated speed in RPM
from the rating plate must match the wiring (star/delta).
1. Press to change the parameter value.
2. Use keys and (or alter individual digits by pressing for 3 seconds)
in order to change the displayed value.
3. Press to confirm the setting.
The display changes automatically to the next commissioning step.
Specify the motor cooling method:
0: Self-ventilated - with fan on the motor shaft (factory setting)
1: Forced ventilation - with a separately driven fan
2: Liquid cooling
128: No fan
1. Press to change the parameter.
2. Use keys and in order to select the required control mode from the list.
V/f control with square characteristic (VF QUAD) is the normal choice for pump,
fan and compressor applications.
3. Press to confirm your selection.
The next step in the commissioning process is then displayed automatically.
Use macros to select predefined input and output circuits:
12: Enable via DI0, setpoint via AI0 (factory setting)
109: Enable and setpoint via Modbus
110: Enable and setpoint via BACnet
