Start page
There are a number of different icons on the start page (this can be invoked
at any time by pressing ); each of these icons represents an application
(e.g. "ENB").
You can select an application using the navi key
p. The selected applica-
tion is highlighted. The desired application is started by pressing the
t
key or by double-clicking on the image.
Icons for starting the applications
You can store up to 640 entries (optiPoint 410/420 Workpoints) or up to
1,000 entries (optiPoint 500 Workpoints) in the local database of your
optiPoint application module. The personal telephone directory can be
configured individually, and it supports data exchange between the PC and
the optiPoint application module, see Æ Page 21.
Locate a partner in your company telephone directory and dial his number
directly. This is possible through the installed LDAP interface Æ Page 33.
Using the WAP browser you can access information provided by your com-
pany. If there is a WAN connection, you can use WAP offers on the internet
Æ Page 36.
You can use any program installed in the optiPoint application module
Æ Page 43.

You can define the configuration for the display (brightness, contrast,
password protection) of your optiPoint application module here

You can record a maximum of 20 VoiceDial entries in the ENB (only
optiPoint 410/420 Workpoints). Once an entry is recorded you can dial the
number by saying the name Æ Page 59.
On telephones of the optiPoint 500 product family only the
applications "ENB" and "Display" are available.
