Step by Step
Example Application: Speed Dial List
Precondition: The Java midlet "SpeedDialApplet" is
installed, see Æ Page 44.
The application "SpeedDialApplet" is an example
application for creating and selecting speed dial entries.
Double-click on the "Programs" icon on the start page
Æ Page 9 to start the application.
The "Java Midlets" dialog is displayed, showing a list of
installed midlets.
Select the entry "SpeedDialApplet".
Click on the softkey in the application bar to start the
Java environment Æ Page 48.
Click on the softkey in the application bar to load the
Java midlet into the execute area and to launch it. You
can now create entries Æ Page 50.
The midlet shown here can differ from the
version installed on your
optiPoint application module.
