Dial from company telephone directory
Precondition: You have access through a LAN to a
company-wide telephone directory and the dialling rules
are entered correctly.
Click on the icon in the system bar.
Double-click on the "LDAP" icon on the start page
Æ Page 9 to start the application.
The "Company Telephone Directory" (LDAP) dialog is
opened.
Simple search
Select the desired entry.
Click on the softkey in the application bar to start the
search.
The display changes to a list of search results.
The list displays all the entries that match the search
criteria.
s or r Select the desired entry.
or
m Dial the telephone number.
Extended search
Extended search enables you to perform search opera-
tions according to different criteria of an entry e.g.
profession or department.
Click on the "Extended Search" register and enter the
initial letters of the known criteria. The remaining
process sequence is as described above.

LDAP
By default, the "*" character is the first character
and a wildcard for any number of characters in
the search.
