7.1 Connection of HART field devices
Example configuration with IM 650 and a HART module
You can use HART modules in the ET 200PA SMART. In this application, the ET 200PA
SMART is the HART master for HART slaves (intelligent field devices).
The IM 650 passes data from the PG/PC via the HART analog module to the intelligent field
devices and back again (the thick line indicates the communication path).
