9.3.2 Error messages of the Diagnostics Tool
Base image partition test
The following table lists the errors that may occur when testing the partitions of the base
image:
Partition name can not be read, status: <Value>
Invalid file structure in the mounted path.
Partition size can not be read, status: <Value> One of the first four partitions cannot be found.
Partition compare failed, status: <Value> The size of one of the first four partitions is inva-
lid.
Valid partition sizes:
• sda1: 2 MB
• sda2: 198 MB
• sda3: 1.3 GB
• sda4: 2620 MB
Check SWCPU Index failed, status: <Value>
The index of the CPU must be "1".
Software PLC is not found The fourth partition "/dev/sda4" cannot be found
SWCPU Index is different for the given filesystem
The index of the CPU must be "1".
Given path does not exist and whole system does
The fourth partition "/dev/sda4" cannot be found.
Incorrect Path For -m! The mounted path does not exist in the file sys-

File version consistency test
The following table lists the errors that may occur when testing the Software Controller data
on the third partition (/dev/sda3):
Can not open file: <File name> The file with the hash list cannot be opened. Path
to the hash list:
Boot/Siemens/SWCPU/hash_file
Memory allocation error Memory for loading the hash file cannot be as-
signed.
File does not exist: <File name>
The file cannot be found.
Hash values are not the same for the file: <File
name>
Expected hash: <Hash value>
Actual Hash: <Hash value>
The actual and expected hash values of the file
do not match.
