Technical modifications/restrictions of 3RV2 motor starter protectors
Restriction of the maximum starting current is necessary for one setting range each of sizes
S0, S2 and S3.
The reason for this lies in the corresponding variants' making and breaking capacities.

Note
For size S0, the setting range variants "
-4P" (30 to 36 A) and "-4F" (34 to 40 A) are not
suitable for use with IE3 m
otors.
We recommend the use of size S2 for these current ranges.
Extended setting ranges of overload releases (sizes S00 and S0)
For the following versions of the motor starter protectors (sizes S00 and S0), the setting
ranges of the overload releases have been extended and adapted to the lower rated motor
current of IE3 motors:
