Batteries
Introduction
The SILENCE S04 make has 2 units
with an innovative removable battery
pack with strap and wheels to be
transported like a trolley, called “be.”
This means that you can charge both
in the vehicle itself and wherever else
you want by bringing it to an electrical
outlet.
This battery pack can also be
exchanged between vehicles and even
be used to give life to many other
appliances.
Safety instructions
• The battery can be a VERY DANGEROUS
product (risk of death) when outside the
vehicle:
• It must always be transported on its
wheels, at a slow speed (max. 3 km/h),
slower than the average walking speed of
a human.
• You must avoid all mistreatment
of the battery, such as blows, jumps,
cobblestones, stairs, holes, and falls (for
example, down stairs), as this can lead it to
catch re. You must also avoid contact with
the water.
• If you see any signs or suspect that the
battery pack was used improperly or fell,
you must not plug it in. Call SILENCE’s
ocial technical services because there is
RISK OF DEATH.
If the battery catches re, you can put
it out with water, a CO2 extinguisher, or
Class D extinguisher, unless the battery
is plugged into the electrical grid or near
other batteries. If this happens, you
must use a CO2 extinguisher or Class D
extinguisher to mitigate the re and take
the battery to a secure, isolated area (at
Before inserting or removing the battery
pack, make sure that the vehicle is not
charging or turned on.
The charger (600 W) is built into the
battery pack itself, so all you need to
charge is an electrical outlet connected to
the grid and the power
cable. It is cooled by convection.
• To connect, you must rst plug in the IEC
connector (vehicle or the battery itself)
and then into the grid. You must charge
completely at least after partially charging
3 or 4 times. In the same way, you must
also do a complete slow charge after 3 or 4
quick charges.
• To disconnect, you must rst unplug
from the electrical grid, and then the
IEC connector. You may interrupt the
charging process at any time. Additionally,
least 15 m of any exposure: other vehicles,
other batteries, etc.). Once in a secure
zone, call emergency services to take
charge of the situation.
